Productof “Re-Tableware, Asumi series”, made by mixing clay with 20% soil from recycled tableware, born for achieving the concept of ceramics rebirth. Replacing the traditional upright standing, this modern design allows incense stick to be placed obliquely. The curved concave design helps catching the ash to keep your surroundings peaceful and tidy for incense enjoyment.

 

Mino ware, originated in the 7th Century, is one of the three major ceramics along with Arita and Seto ware. It is the largest ceramics production in Japan. The particular firing temperature can reduce the metal content so that it’s popular among people. In 1988, it was designated as a Japanese traditional craft.
